A beautifully sculptural table lamp formed from a blue-glazed pottery vase by Herman Kähler, dating to the 1930s and signed to the base “HAK”. The rich glaze and classic Kähler form make it an elegant decorative piece even when unlit.

The lamp retains its original brass lampshade holder and original brass-and-porcelain E27 bulb holder. It has been rewired with brown twisted cloth flex, with added insulation where the flex passes through the fitting, ready for safe everyday use while keeping a period-appropriate look.

Measurements: height 39 cm; base diameter 14 cm.

Condition: overall good vintage condition, with a small chip to the top brim.
