A refined brass Modernist table lamp designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen for Fog & Mør

A refined brass Modernist table lamp designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen for Fog & Mørup, Denmark, circa 1940s. Elegant and sculptural, it stands on a brass base with brass on/off switch, rising into a graceful swan-neck stem and finished with a matching brass shade.

Dimensions Height 52 cm. Shade diameter 15 cm. Base diameter 17 cm.

The lamp has been professionally rewired with brown twisted cloth flex and is insulated from the base to the bulb holder, so grounding is not required. It can be supplied fitted with an electrical plug suitable for **US, UK, or EU** markets.

Condition is excellent for its age, with beautifully honest, age-related wear throughout. A deep brass patina that has been cleaned only not polished. Wear consistent with careful use over decades.
