A very rare Mid Century chandelier designed by Danish architect T. H. Valentiner for Poul Dinesen in the 1960s .

A classic example of simple and elegant Danish modernism at its best.

The whole lamp is made of brass except the white “candles” which are made of plastic.

A lovely patina to the surface of the brass with age related wear.

This chandelier has been dismantled and all parts cleaned.

Completely rewired with the option of grounding at the gallery on the hanging hook.

E14 bulb holders. LED bulbs recommended or 25W incandescent. .

Can be connected to a dimmer switch and used on all continents.

This T. H. Valentiner chandelier is fitted with 8 lampshades in house made at Gallery Sixty One.

This beautiful material is cotton with hand printed flowers and designed by Swedish designer Lisbeth Jobs and with a dia. of 15 cm.

Th. Valentiner belongs to the group of less documented but highly esteemed Danish designers who helped define modern lighting culture in the 1950s and 60s. Although there is not much biographical information about him, his lamps testify to a designer with technical skills and a sure understanding of form.

Today, Valentiner lamps are rare collector's items and are valued for their craftsmanship and timeless elegance.
