Vintage Brass Table Lamp by Fog & Mørup Lamp Makers from the 1940s

A vintage brass table lamp by Danish lighting company Fog & Mørup from the 1940s in the style of Poul Henningsen. The lamp has been dissembled and rewired with a twisted gold cloth flex and grounded. This Fog & Mørup table lamp has also been fitted with a new on/switch. It maintains its original Bakelite lamp holder. It also has a lovely age related wear and patina to the surface of the brass. New green baize has been applied to the base. A great piece of classic Danish Design from the beginning of a great design period. The lampshade is made from a vintage kimono and is not included in the sale but can be purchased if so desired.
